Damyang-gun Operates 'Forest Prenatal Healing Camp for Pregnant Women'
Emotional Stability and Physical Health of Pregnant Women and Families, and Enhancement of Attachment with the Fetus
On the 15th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it operated the 'Pregnant Women Forest Prenatal Healing Camp' for registered pregnant women and their families in the area from the 12th to the 13th.
This healing camp was held at the National Jangseong Forest Healing Center, a forestry healing partner institution, to promote emotional stability and physical health of pregnant women and their spouses, as well as to enhance the attachment relationship with the fetus.
The camp prepared programs that could promote the mental and physical stability and physical function improvement of pregnant women, as well as intimacy between couples, through parent-fetus attachment enhancement and emotional stability programs for pregnant women, along with various experiences for pregnant women and their families.

A county official said, “We hope this program helped participants recover from physical and mental fatigue and prepare for welcoming the precious new life,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to overcome low birth rates through various projects such as prenatal checkups, maternal and newborn health services, and childbirth incentive support.”
