BNK Gyeongnam Bank Launches 'ESG Practice Day Campaign'
Operation to Reduce Disposable Products and Avoid Leaving Food Waste
BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 15th that it is conducting the ‘ESG Practice Day Campaign’.
The ESG Practice Day Campaign was established to implement BNK Financial Group’s management philosophy of ‘Right Finance’ and is operated by reducing disposable products and avoiding leftover food.

View original imageThe first and third Fridays of every month are designated as Disposable Product Zero Day and Leftover Food Zero Day, encouraging employees to actively participate in the campaign.
In particular, on Disposable Product Zero Day, employees who bring a tumbler to the head office cafe are provided with free coffee and various other beverages.
Heo Jong-gu, Executive Director of the Management Support Headquarters, said, “We hope that employees will practice various ESG activities in their daily lives through the ESG Practice Day Campaign. Furthermore, we will strive to promote and expand ESG management initiatives being pursued at the BNK Financial Group level.”
Meanwhile, apart from the ESG Practice Day Campaign, BNK Gyeongnam Bank is conducting the ‘Together Green Training Center, We go Paperless’ initiative.
