Korean Air Holds 'One Heart Walk' Event to Celebrate 59th Anniversary of Union Founding
Korean Air announced on the 15th that it held the ‘Labor-Management United Walk’ event commemorating the 59th anniversary of the Korean Air Labor Union’s founding on the 13th at Bucheon Sports Complex.
About 2,500 employees and their families, including Korean Air Vice President Yoo Jong-seok and Labor Union Chairman Oh Pil-jo, participated in this event, which was organized under the slogan "Fly Again, Walk Again" to strengthen harmony and unity between labor and management.

View original imageBefore the event, Vice President Yoo Jong-seok congratulated the 59th anniversary of the Korean Air Labor Union in his congratulatory speech. He expressed gratitude to all employees and executives for their efforts and dedication in overcoming the difficult times wisely by coming together during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also delivered a hopeful message about labor and management joining forces to prepare for a new leap forward.
On the day of the event, various children’s experience programs such as the ‘Bucheon Azalea Hill Walk,’ air bounce, face painting, and balloon art were prepared. Additionally, busking performances and prize drawing events were held to add more fun to the event. In particular, through games that families could participate in together, the event was successfully concluded as a festival enjoyed by both employees and their families.
Meanwhile, in celebration of Family Month in May, Korean Air previously attracted enthusiastic participation from employees through a Family Day event held over two days, April 29 and 30, inviting about 8,600 employees and their families to the headquarters in Gangseo-gu.
