LH Selects 'FUN' as Winner of Landscape Facility Design Competition
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 15th that 'FUN' by Spacetalk was selected as the winning entry in the LH Family Look design landscaping facility contest held in March last year.
A total of eight companies participated in the contest, and a committee composed of external experts in landscaping evaluated the entries based on design, functionality, and constructability.
The winning entry FUN received high scores by proposing a comfortable and harmonious design to restore rest and vitality, inspired by three keywords: Flexible, Unity, and Harmony.
FUN will be applied to the landscaping facilities of the public sale apartments in Pyeongtaek Godeok A53 Block, scheduled for completion next year.
Meanwhile, LH plans to gradually expand the Family Look contest to enhance the quality of outdoor space design, aiming to supply high-quality new homes.
Additionally, LH is promoting the creation of artist gardens within public housing complexes to reflect residents' demand for various cultural and leisure activities in natural urban spaces.
To move away from standardized playgrounds mainly composed of mass-produced products and create a happy play environment for children, LH has prepared guidelines and plans to hold an idea contest for citizens in the second half of this year to share new ideas about play.
