Hyundai Engineering Wins Remodeling Contract for Anyang Pyeongchon Chowoen 2nd Complex Daelim Apartment
Hyundai Engineering announced on the 15th that it was selected as the final contractor at the general meeting for the ‘Pyeongchon Chowon 2nd Complex Daerim Apartment Remodeling Project’ held on the 13th in Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi Province.
Through remodeling, this complex will be transformed from the existing structure of 1 basement floor, 25 above-ground floors, 12 buildings, and 1,035 households to 3 basement floors, 26 above-ground floors, 13 buildings, and 1,113 households. The total project scale is 468.7 billion KRW, and 78 newly constructed units through separate buildings and horizontal extensions will be sold to the general public.

View original imageParking space will also increase. Hyundai Engineering explained that the parking lot, which previously accommodated 829 cars (0.8 cars per household), will be expanded to 1,692 cars (1.5 cars per household).
Since winning its first remodeling project for the Gwangmyeong Cheolsan Hanshin Apartment in March 2021, Hyundai Engineering has secured construction rights for a total of seven remodeling projects, accumulating orders worth approximately 2.3 trillion KRW.
In particular, after entering the remodeling business, Hyundai Engineering was recognized for its remodeling capabilities and technology by independently winning the Pyeongchon Chowon 2nd Complex Daerim Apartment project in Anyang and the Yongin Suji Samsung 1st Apartment project won last year within a short period.

A Hyundai Engineering official said, “This is the first project selected as a contractor in Pyeongchon, a first-generation new town,” adding, “It is meaningful in that it has laid the foundation for additional orders for planned remodeling projects within first-generation new towns in the future.”
