Lotte Healthcare Launches Social Contribution Campaign 'Hamkke Green'... Starting with 'Protecting Jeju Sea'
Lotte Healthcare is launching a customer participation social contribution campaign as part of its ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) management.
On the 15th, Lotte Healthcare announced that it has formed a partnership with the nonprofit organization Save Jeju Sea for the ‘Together Green Project,’ which donates a portion of the proceeds to environmental protection when customers purchase products on its personalized health management platform ‘CAZZLE.’
The Together Green Project is Lotte Healthcare’s eco-friendly social contribution campaign, combining the meaning of ‘drawing together’ and the English word ‘Green.’ It carries the dual meaning of ‘dreaming of a blue Earth that we draw together.’ When customers purchase products on the CAZZLE platform, a portion of the proceeds is directly donated to the designated charity. For transparent operation, the total accumulated amount is disclosed in real time, and customers can check in advance how much will be donated at the product purchase stage.
Lotte Healthcare selected Save Jeju Sea as the first partner to participate in the Together Green Project. Save Jeju Sea is a nonprofit organization established in December 2017 with the goal of solving pollution problems in the Jeju Sea. Until last year, it collected 53.8 tons of waste with 6,435 volunteers. Among this, 2 tons of marine plastic waste are recycled to create upcycled products such as keychains, camping boxes, braille blocks, and bags.
