Sacheon-si Conducts 2023 Community Health Survey
Sample households aged 19 and over - 899 adults surveyed
Sacheon City in Gyeongnam Province will conduct the "2023 Community Health Survey" from the 16th of this month until July 31.
The Community Health Survey is a nationally approved statistical survey conducted simultaneously by public health centers nationwide under the Regional Health Act. It produces local health statistics that serve as basic data for promoting the health of local residents.
The survey targets 899 adults aged 19 and older among the sample households. Prior to the main survey, mailings will be sent to promote and encourage participation in the preliminary survey of the sample households.
The survey items cover a total of 17 areas and 145 questions, including health behaviors such as smoking, drinking, physical activity, and dietary habits; chronic disease morbidity based on early recognition of symptoms of hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and myocardial infarction; medical institution usage; accidents and poisoning; activity limitations; and quality of life.
Four surveyors who have completed training on the Community Health Survey will visit the selected sample households in person and conduct one-on-one interviews. The questionnaire will be administered using electronic survey forms on tablet PCs.
Previously, Sacheon Public Health Center signed a business agreement with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Gyeongsang National University to ensure accurate survey implementation.
