Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) solidified its friendly relations by holding an official meeting with the delegation from its overseas sister city, Mongol Khangal District.
The district and Khangal District of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, have maintained a deep connection for 23 years. Since establishing the sister city relationship in 2001, they have regularly exchanged visits and maintained active communication.
Also, on the 12th, the delegation visited Gwangjin-gu for a 4-night, 5-day schedule to resume meetings that had been temporarily interrupted due to COVID-19.
On this day, six guests including Mayor J. Aldarjavkhlan of Khangal District attended. Mayor Kim Kyung-ho and officials welcomed them, exchanged opinions on future exchange and cooperation, and had a time of communication.
Mayor Kim Kyung-ho said, “We sincerely welcome the Mongol Khangal District delegation who have built friendship over a long period,” and added, “We will do our best to maintain a good relationship through barrier-free communication and cooperation.”
