60-Year-Old Dies After Being Crushed by 2.5t Forklift at Gimhae Factory
At around 10:06 a.m. on the 12th, a man in his 60s died after being crushed by a 2.5-ton forklift at a rubber processing factory in Saengnim-myeon, Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the police and labor authorities, the deceased, Mr. A, was driving the forklift in reverse down a downhill slope to move to another building when the forklift overturned, trapping him under the vehicle.
The company employs 58 people and is subject to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act.
