Silla University Hosts Employment Fair for Excellent SMEs through Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration
Shilla University held an excellent small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) employment briefing session on the 11th at the university's engineering building to improve college students' awareness of SMEs.
The briefing session invited Lee Jeong-rim, chairman of the Sasang Enterprise Development Council, and Kim Sang-gyun, head of the Enterprise Support Team at the Sasang District Office's Job and Economy Division.
Chairman Lee informed the university students about the excellence of SMEs, while Team Leader Kim gave a special lecture on the Sasang District's long-term development plan, an introduction to SMEs, and employment opportunities in outstanding SMEs through industry-academia-government cooperation.

View original imageAt this briefing session, Shilla University aimed to raise students' interest and understanding of SMEs by helping them recognize that SMEs play a significant role in our economic development and offer many opportunities and growth potential, thereby providing an opportunity to consider SMEs when choosing employment and career paths.
Bae Il-kwon, director of the Shilla University University Job Plus Center, said, “Going forward, Shilla University and the Sasang Enterprise Development Council will strengthen cooperation to promote exchanges between outstanding local SMEs and students and continue various activities to improve awareness of SMEs.”
