Ready-mixed concrete refers to concrete that is still in a liquid state, mixed inside a truck from the concrete manufacturing plant and delivered to the site before it hardens.
The accident was confirmed to have been caused by a malfunction of the high-pressure water supply pipe valve during the concrete pouring. As the ready-mixed concrete fell onto the roadside below, it contaminated 14 vehicles waiting to turn right.
