Starbucks Korea announced on the 11th that it has selected barista Jang Gwang-yeol as the coffee ambassador representing approximately 23,000 of its baristas this year.

Starbucks appoints the most outstanding baristas with exceptional coffee knowledge and passion in each country as coffee ambassadors through a selection competition held annually.
This year, 274 regional coffee masters selected from among about 23,000 Starbucks partners participated in preliminary and final rounds. In this coffee ambassador selection competition, the final winner was chosen through a coffee knowledge test, a professional lecture on coffee, and coffee storytelling.
