Busan City has proactively established a dedicated "Jeonse Fraud Victim Support Task Force (TF)" to respond to jeonse fraud damage and enhance the effectiveness of housing stability for victims.
The task force (TF) consists of five members from the Busan City Architecture and Housing Bureau's working team and began operations on the 8th to provide prompt and systematic support.
Through the task force, the city plans to develop measures to expand victim support, protect tenants, strengthen crackdowns, conduct surveys, provide psychological counseling for victims, and establish a proactive response system in preparation for the passage and implementation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "Special Act on Support for Jeonse Fraud Victims and Housing Stability."
Additionally, in cooperation with district and county offices, a joint investigation team comprising private experts and public-private members will be formed to conduct damage surveys, provide legal service support, and expand practical victim support measures such as emergency housing support and financial assistance based on damage verification.
Kim Bong-cheol, Director of the Architecture and Housing Bureau, stated, "We will actively strive to ensure that victim support policies are smoothly implemented through the newly established Jeonse Fraud Victim Support Task Force."
