Yangcheon-gu to Operate ‘Dulseok Dulseok Yangcheon in the Forest’ Program at Gyenam and Yongwangsan Neighborhood Parks from May 12 to June 3
Unique Activities Offered Including Seed Bomb Making, Forest Outings, Mission-Based Ecological Exploration, and Meditation Experiences
Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Lee Gi-jae) announced that starting May 12, it will operate the park culture program ‘Dulseok Dulseok Yangcheon in the Forest,’ utilizing the forest resources of Sinjeongsan and Yongwangsan to accompany the ‘green leisure vulnerable’ who usually find it difficult to enjoy parks due to time constraints, age, or physical disabilities.
At Gyenam Neighborhood Park in Sinjeongsan, unique programs will be held every Friday and Saturday from May 12 to June 3.
The Friday programs, aimed at people with disabilities and the elderly, include various activities such as ‘Seed Bomb Making,’ which breathes life into the park with seed clusters, ‘Healing Forest Outing’ accompanied by a forest guide, and ‘Handpan Meditation and Performance,’ a meditation program using resonant instruments for mental and physical relaxation.
The district plans to invite seniors from welfare centers, workers from the Hope Workplace for the Disabled, and children from local after-school centers to enable more green leisure vulnerable individuals to experience the parks.

Additionally, an emotional space will be created by linking performances of ‘Dulseok Dulseok Busking’ featuring local artists.
At Yongwangsan Neighborhood Park, from May 14 to 28, every Sunday, a mission-based program called ‘Ecotiering, Family Forest Exploration Team’ will be held for dual-income families who find it difficult to visit the park on weekdays, using the Yongwangsan tree map.
‘Ecotiering’ is an ecological exploration using a compass and map to find destinations, expected to enhance family unity and provide a sense of accomplishment.
Residents wishing to participate in the ‘Dulseok Dulseok Yangcheon in the Forest’ program can make reservations through ‘Seoul Public Service Reservation.’
