A skeletonized body was found on Yongmunsan Mountain in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province. According to Yangpyeong Police Station and fire authorities on the 9th, a skeletonized body was discovered by an herbalist near the cliff of Hamwangseongji Temple on Yongmunsan Mountain in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, around 9 a.m. the previous day.
The body was wearing winter hiking clothes, and a mobile phone was found in the upper pocket. It is estimated to be an elderly male.
The police believe it may be an 80-year-old man who went missing while hiking Yongmunsan Mountain in October last year. They plan to request a DNA test from the National Forensic Service.
