Jin Air announced on the 9th that its operating profit for the first quarter turned positive compared to the same period last year, reaching 84.9 billion KRW. Sales increased by 422% to 352.5 billion KRW, and net profit also turned positive at 60 billion KRW.
Jin Air achieved its highest quarterly performance in sales, operating profit, and net profit for the first quarter. Jin Air explained, "Travel demand surged due to the transition to endemic status, the easing of entry procedures in major countries, and the seasonal peak period," adding, "This was thanks to strengthened passenger demand responsiveness through efficient fleet operation and route diversification."
