The Kyungnam University Alumni Association awarded a scholarship of 32 million KRW for the first semester of the 2023 academic year to current students of the alma mater on the 9th at the main building's 4th-floor conference room.
The Kyungnam University Alumni Association has been delivering scholarships to Kyungnam University every year to support the development of the alma mater and encourage juniors to become future talents. The scholarship fund of 32 million KRW, contributed by alumni scholarship donors, was awarded to a total of 46 students through this ceremony.
Kim Dong-gu, president of the Alumni Association, said, "It is very meaningful to deliver scholarships to our alma mater, which is leading the cultivation of outstanding talents and diversification of regional education with the educational philosophy of truth, freedom, and creativity," adding, "All 150,000 Kyungnam University alumni who have advanced into various fields of society will be a strong support for your challenges toward the future."

Following this, Park Jae-yoon, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Kyungnam University, said, "We deeply thank the alumni scholarship donors and related parties of the Alumni Association who have delivered scholarships for the alma mater and juniors," and added, "We hope that all students who received the scholarships will grow into excellent talents who can pass on warm hearts to future juniors."
