View original imageArtist Iwaljong is breaking the boundaries of traditional Korean painting by attempting modern integration. His works are characterized by free composition and vibrant, rich colors. He does not limit himself to specific materials or techniques, expressing his art by crossing between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms. This exhibition features Iwaljong's representative series "Jeju Life's Middle Way (中道)." Like the Buddhist spirit of "Middle Way," the series views nature and humans as one and portrays a life that is not biased to one side. Through works depicting the scenery of Jeju, visitors can feel a positive and relaxed atmosphere. The exhibition runs until the 18th of next month and showcases eight original paintings and eight prints from the Jeju Waljong Art Museum.
