Gyeonggi Office of Education Announces 6,625 Passers of Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Exams
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced the list of 6,625 successful candidates for the 2023 first round of elementary, middle, and high school equivalency exams on the 9th.
The number of successful candidates includes 837 for elementary level, 1,487 for middle level, and 4,301 for high school level.
The highest scorers were 36 elementary level students including Kim (age 13) who achieved perfect scores in all subjects, 9 middle level students including Lee (age 15), and 56 high school level students including Kim (age 16).
The oldest successful candidates were Jeong (female, 80) for elementary level, Lee (male, 81) for middle level, and Jo (male, 80) for high school level.
The youngest successful candidates were Park (female, 11) for elementary level, Bae (male, 12) for middle level, and Oh (female, 12) for high school level.

The Office issues certificates of passing, transcripts, and subject pass certificates through the NEIS HomeEdu civil service using the applicant’s public authentication certificate. They can also be issued at nearby elementary, middle, and high school administrative offices or education support office civil service centers.
