Fundraising for Veterans' Families Support Targeting Local Businesses
11 Million KRW Delivered to Changwon Chamber of Commerce as the First Companion
The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam is launching the '2023 Donation Relay Campaign' in June to commemorate the Month of Patriots and Veterans.
Conducted in collaboration with the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea, this campaign is designed to support the families of patriots who have dedicated themselves to the nation and to foster a happy companionship with them.
The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam is launching the '2023 Donation Relay Campaign' in June to commemorate the Month of Patriots and Veterans.
View original imageRunning for one month from June 10 to June 9, the campaign collects donations from local companies through applications facilitated by the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea. All funds raised will be used to support patriot families through the Gyeongnam Eastern Veterans Office during the Month of Patriots and Veterans in June. As the first companion of the campaign, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry donated 11 million won.

This campaign is the first project of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Social Contribution Council, which was launched in April to encourage social contribution activities. To ensure the successful promotion of the campaign, on May 2, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of understanding with the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea and the Gyeongnam Eastern Veterans Office.
