Hampyeong-gun Extends Operating Hours of Agricultural Machinery Rental Centers During Farming Season
Until July 2... Weekday mornings moved earlier from 9 AM to 8 AM
Saturday rentals available only at the main branch (Nong-eop Gisul Center)
Hampyeong-gun is extending the operating hours of its agricultural machinery rental centers as the full-scale farming season begins.
According to the county on the 4th, in preparation for the surge in demand for agricultural machinery during the farming season, the three agricultural machinery rental centers will operate extended hours until July 2.
The county owns and manages 456 units of 100 types of agricultural machinery, including soybean seeders and fertilizer spreaders, at three locations: the Agricultural Technology Center (main office), the Eastern Branch (Haebo-myeon), and the Western Branch (Sonbul-myeon).
All three rental centers will open one hour earlier on weekdays, changing the opening time from 9 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Additionally, only the main office located at the Agricultural Technology Center will offer agricultural machinery rentals on Saturdays.
Rental fees range from 1,000 KRW to 151,000 KRW per day depending on the model, and rentals can be made for up to three days.

A center official stated, “By extending the operating hours of the agricultural machinery rental centers, we aim to reduce the burden of purchasing machinery and improve farmers’ incomes.”
