Hampyeong-gun Promotes Tourism Activation with 'Hampyeong Tourism Fam Tour'
Inviting Over 20 People Including SNS Influencers and Tourism Journalists
Hampyeong-gun has stepped up efforts to promote stay-type tourism in celebration of the 25th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival.
According to the county on the 2nd, a "Hampyeong Tourism Fam Tour" for SNS influencers and tourism professional journalists was held over two days on the 27th and 28th of last month.
About 20 participants, including SNS influencers and tourism professional journalists, took part in this event.
The participants explored major tourist attractions in Hampyeong such as Expo Park, where the Butterfly Festival is held, Hampyeong Natural Ecology Park, Ilgang Kim Cheol Memorial Hall, and Yongcheon Temple.
Through this fam tour, the county promoted not only tourist sites but also local food resources such as lodging facilities like Jupo Hanok Village and agricultural and specialty products.
A county official said, “We will develop various tourism and travel products that can showcase Hampyeong’s hidden charms in response to changing tourism demands.”
Meanwhile, the Butterfly Festival, held under the theme "The Sound that Opens Spring, Hampyeong Butterfly Festival" until the 7th, features 400,000 colorful flowers of 33 varieties including Shapinia and various butterflies all in one place.

Additionally, various experiential programs are prepared, such as outdoor butterfly releasing, making leaf butterflies and insects, catching loaches, befriending cute animals, and visiting a dairy cow farm.
