Featuring 490 performance fountains of 12 types, a water screen, 271 lights and video projectors, and beam lasers, it creates a spectacular show and operates twice daily for 30 minutes each at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
The city plans to add two more 30-minute sessions at 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM during the Children’s Day holiday (May 5 to 7).
In particular, to ensure that families, couples, and people of all ages can enjoy and create memories, the performance songs are composed differently each time, including various genres such as K-pop like ‘NewJeans - Hype boy,’ trot, children’s songs, and fusion gugak (traditional Korean music).
Going forward, the city plans to add new songs to the existing 51 performance pieces to offer more diverse fountain shows.
A city official said, “We will strive to operate and improve the music fountain, which many citizens and tourists are interested in and expect, so that it can become an even more wonderful landmark of Namwon. We hope everyone enjoys watching it with family, friends, and loved ones during the Children’s Day holiday.”
