China Releases First Color Images of Mars Taken by Its Mars Probe

China has released color images of Mars taken by its first Mars probe on the 24th, according to the state-run Xinhua News Agency.
The China National Space Administration (CNSA), which oversees China's space development, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) unveiled the Mars color photos at the 'China Space Day' event held that day. These images are based on 14,757 image data captured over eight months from November 2021 to July last year by a remote sensing camera mounted on the Tianwen-1 orbiter, China's unmanned probe.

Tianwen-1 consists of an orbiter, a lander, and the exploration rover 'Zhurong.' It was launched on July 23, 2020, and landed on Mars on May 15 of the following year.
