Performing Non-Destructive Testing on Low-Pressure Turbine
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Park Beom-su) announced that at 10:14 AM today, during the non-destructive testing of the low-pressure turbine in the turbine building of Hanul Unit 2, a part of the work partition was burned due to insulation failure of the power cable of the inspection equipment, and it was immediately extinguished with a fire extinguisher.
Non-destructive testing is a method of inspecting products externally without destroying them to check for internal defects.
