[Exclusive] Baek Ho Appointed as President and Seong Jung-gi as Auditor of Seoul Metro
Baek Ho, former Director of Urban Transportation at Seoul Metropolitan Government, has been appointed as the candidate for President of Seoul Metro.
Also, Seong Jung-gi, former member of the Seoul Metropolitan Council (re-elected in Gangnam), will begin his duties as Standing Auditor starting from the 27th.
According to Seoul City and Seoul Metro on the 21st, Mayor Oh Se-hoon approved Baek Ho, former director, as the President candidate of Seoul Metro, and Seong Jung-gi, former council member, as the auditor.
The Seoul Metro President Recommendation Committee submitted Baek, former director, as the presidential candidate and Seong, former council member, as the first-priority candidate for auditor to Seoul City after document screening and interviews.
Accordingly, the Seoul Metropolitan Council's Special Committee on Personnel Hearings is scheduled to hold a personnel hearing for Baek Ho, the candidate for President of Seoul Metro, between May 3 and 17.
Baek Ho, the presidential candidate (59), graduated from Dankook University with a degree in Public Administration, passed the civil service examination, worked at the Prime Minister's Office, then joined Seoul City where he served as Deputy Mayor of Gwangjin District, Director of Lifelong Education Bureau, Head of Waterworks Headquarters, and Director of Urban Transportation before currently serving as an invited professor at the University of Seoul.

Seong Jung-gi, the appointed auditor (63), holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Dongguk University and served as a member of the 9th and 10th Seoul Metropolitan Council.
