Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance donated 100 million KRW to provide emergency relief for residents affected by the wildfires in the Gangneung area of Gangwon Province.
On the 21st, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced that it had delivered the relief funds through the Korean Red Cross. The funds will be used for forest restoration in the affected areas and for providing food and emergency supplies to support the livelihoods of disaster victims.
Additionally, for customers affected by the wildfire, the company will defer long-term insurance premium payments for six months and expedite insurance claim payments.
