Samil Parabu Culture Scholarship Foundation Donates Development Fund to Gwangju University
Samil Paraview Cultural Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Choi Gap-ryeol) announced on the 12th that it has donated 10 million KRW in development funds to Gwangju University.
The foundation stated that it wanted to support the leap of Gwangju University, a prestigious local private university, and the cultivation of global talents by donating the funds.
Kim Dong-jin, President of Gwangju University, said, “We will use the precious development funds donated during these difficult times to help students focus solely on their studies and will strive even harder to nurture talents who will dedicate themselves to the development of the nation and local community.”
Since its establishment in 2019, the foundation has been carrying out various social contribution projects aimed at talent development and regional advancement. In 2020 and last year, it also donated a total of 25 million KRW to Gwangju University under the name of scholarships and research activity support.
