Wild Boar Shot Dead Two Days After Coming Down to Apartment in Nowon-gu, Seoul
A wild boar that appeared in an apartment complex in Nowon-gu, Seoul was shot dead after two days.
Nowon-gu Office and fire authorities shot and captured a male wild boar weighing about 200 kg near Doansa Temple on Suraksan Mountain in Nowon-gu at around 11:30 a.m. on the 9th.
Authorities received a report at 5:50 p.m. on the 7th that the wild boar was roaming in an apartment complex in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, and deployed professional hunters to track it.
The authorities temporarily ended the search around noon the previous day but resumed tracking after discovering additional signs of the wild boar.
There were no property or human casualties caused by the wild boar's appearance.

An official from the district office said, "Since there are hiking trails near Doansa Temple, we shot the boar due to concerns about potential human injuries."
