On the morning of the 8th, Lee Gi-jae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, visited the site of the 13th Bangadari Festival, a spring welcoming event held on Bangadari-gil in front of Sinwol 5-dong Community Center, and spent time communicating with the residents.
Since its first event in 2009, the Bangadari Festival has established itself as a representative spring festival of the Sinwol-dong area, providing opportunities for local economic revitalization, communication, and harmony, and has been greatly loved by the residents.
This year’s festival was organized with various corners that people of all ages could enjoy together, including cultural performances, sharing and food markets. In particular, programs for protecting the global environment, such as the ‘Climate Change Experience Classroom’ and the ‘Energy Saving Pledge Ceremony,’ were held, adding special meaning.
