Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Inspects Safety Management Ahead of Popular Singer Lim Young-woong's Ceremonial Kickoff at the 2023 Hana One Q K League
Mayor Park Gang-su mobilized 60 personnel from both public and private sectors to manage crowd safety ahead of the 2023 Hana One Q K League match between FC Seoul and Daegu, scheduled for 4:30 PM on the 8th.
On this day, a ceremonial kickoff event featuring popular singer Lim Young-woong was planned, and the expected audience, including regular soccer spectators and Lim Young-woong fan club members, was estimated to reach around 40,000, prompting an urgent safety operation.
The district deployed teams consisting of employees from the Public Safety Division, Parking Management Division, Mapo District Sports Council, and Mapo Police Station around the World Cup Stadium Station area from 3 PM to 7 PM to conduct parking enforcement, vehicle control, pedestrian crowd management, and other safety guidance.
