A man in his 50s dies of cardiac arrest while hiking Daegoksan in Changwon
A man in his 50s collapsed and died of cardiac arrest while hiking on Daegoksan Mountain located in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.
At around 9:11 a.m. on the 8th, Mr. A, in his 50s, collapsed on a hiking trail near the summit of Daegoksan Mountain, approximately 700 meters above sea level.
The fire department responded to a report from a hiking club member stating, "A person has collapsed during a hike with 30 members," and guided CPR via video call.
Mr. A, who was in cardiac arrest, was airlifted by a fire helicopter to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead by medical staff at around 10:56 a.m.
