Before Geum-o, 10 Million KRW Donation to Silla University Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Development Fund
Geumogi Jeon, a manufacturer of shipbuilding equipment, donated 10 million KRW to the university development fund of Silla University on the 6th.
The fund transfer ceremony took place at 10:30 a.m. in the president's reception room at Silla University, with key figures from both sides attending, including President Heo Nam-sik and Geumogi Jeon CEO Kang Byung-chun.

View original imageGeumogi Jeon has participated in Silla University's long-term field training (IPP) and Youth Tomorrow Savings Program, hiring more than 10 graduates from Silla University's Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering so far.
CEO Kang Byung-chun of Geumogi Jeon said, "Young talents, including Silla University graduates, have played a major role in our company's growth and development to its current position," adding, "We hope this development fund will contribute to the school's advancement and talent cultivation."
Founded in 1995, Geumogi Jeon is a technology-focused company that led the localization of sensors and controllers for ship engines, which were previously dependent on imports, and has registered over 40 intellectual property rights.
In 2008, the company was recognized for its contribution to national industrial development and received the Busan Small and Medium Business Award. In 2014 and 2015, it was awarded the Presidential Citation for job creation and quality innovation, respectively.
