Dongmyeong University’s Park Taehwan and Pukyong National University’s Kim Bugon Publish Joint Research Paper
Dr. Park Tae-hwan from the Dongmyung University Human Rights Center and Dr. Kim Bu-gon from the Department of Business Consulting at Pukyong National University recently published a joint research paper titled "An Empirical Analysis of the Impact on the Financial Performance of Social Enterprises."
The paper empirically analyzed the impact of corporate capability variables from a resource-based perspective on the financial performance of social enterprises as an alternative to address the difficulties faced by small business owners due to COVID-19.
Dr. Park and Dr. Kim presented results showing that when the corporate capabilities of social enterprises are harmonized, financial performance can improve. They also analyzed factors influencing financial performance based on corporate capabilities targeting social enterprises nationwide at the current time following the enactment of the Social Enterprise Promotion Act.
They further analyzed the common influencing factors of key elements on the financial performance of social enterprises in fulfilling social responsibility, thereby redefining support directions for establishing future management goals and strategies for social enterprises.

In addition to the paper presented at the Korea Society of Trade Information, Dr. Park Tae-hwan and Dr. Kim Bu-gon also published a joint research paper titled "A Study on the Impact of External Income of Private Universities on Major Financial and Accounting Indicators" in the Korean Management Consulting Society (a KCI-registered journal).
