In the middle of the night, an incident occurred where someone threw lit fireworks several times from a high-rise building on the beach of Gwangalli Beach in Busan, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
According to the Busan Nambu Police Station and KBS Busan Broadcasting on the 2nd, at around 0:21 a.m. on the 1st, a firework ignited on the 11th floor of a high-rise building on Gwangalli Beach Road in Suyeong-gu was seen by a passerby descending along the building's exterior wall and exploding below on the road, who then reported it to the police.
There were no casualties caused by the firework throwing. The police who responded to the report visited the 11th floor of the building but found the lights off and no signs of people.
