The Senior Academy is a two-year educational program first launched nationwide by the city in 2014, where seniors aged 60 and over wear school uniforms and choose a major course (instrumental music, traditional Korean music, everyday music, etc.) to study for two years, pursuing new dreams in a meaningful school setting.
Starting together with the Batmeori Lifelong Learning Center, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the academy is welcoming its 10th batch of new students and has established itself as a core program of lifelong learning in Pohang City.
