Various Ecological Protection Activities Launched
Opening of Woori Bank Innovation Branch at Everland
Woori Bank has joined hands with Samsung C&T to promote ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) social contribution.
On the 2nd, Woori Bank announced that on the 31st of last month, it signed a business agreement with Everland, operated by the Resort Division of Samsung C&T, to "practice corporate social responsibility and strengthen ESG cooperation."
Accordingly, the two companies agreed to collaborate on ▲ joint ESG social contribution initiatives such as protecting endangered animals ▲ cooperation in ESG finance and joint marketing based on online and offline platforms ▲ mutual cooperation to fulfill corporate social responsibility.
First, they plan to accelerate ESG joint marketing through eco-friendly social contribution projects such as sponsoring the endangered Korean tiger and promoting the ‘Tiger Valley’ facility, a Korean tiger habitat within Everland, through branding and ecological and animal protection campaigns.
Additionally, as part of joint marketing, Woori Bank opened an innovative branch inside Everland. At the innovative branch, visitors can experience Woori Bank’s brand and financial services, and various events offering Q-PASS, Everland product/food and beverage vouchers, and character goods have been prepared.
