Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin District, Discloses Assets Worth 4.19445 Billion KRW... This Much?
Fourth Highest Among 25 Seoul District Mayors
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin District, who passed the civil service exam after graduating from university and served as a lifelong Seoul city official, attracted attention by reporting a total of 4.19445 billion KRW in his recently disclosed public official asset declaration.
Having been elected as the mayor of Gwangjin District in the 8th local election, Mayor Kim is working hard for regional development. He currently lives in an apartment under his wife's name with a jeonse deposit of 400 million KRW. It is known that, as a public official, he has not owned a house due to expenses such as sending his children abroad for studies.
However, the asset disclosure revealed that Mayor Kim owns forest land in 11 locations nationwide, with 7 plots under his wife's name. Additionally, forest land is registered under the names of his eldest and second daughters.
Most of these substantial assets are reported to have been inherited from his late father-in-law, who passed away last year.
