View original imageAccording to Club72 on the 29th, they will first introduce a pilot self-rounding system using AI carts on the Haneul Course. The AI carts equipped with tracking devices automatically follow players at a distance of 1 to 2 meters. When the player stops for a shot, the cart stops as well, and it moves again when the drive button is pressed.
A Club72 official explained, "Since there is no charge for using the AI carts, it is about 100,000 KRW cheaper than using regular carts, and considering the caddie fee, teams can save about 250,000 KRW."
Food and beverages are allowed on the Haneul Course. Additionally, guests are provided with a buffet consisting of 15 different meal options before and after play, free of charge for one meal per person. The Bada Course has prepared a 9-hole night-rounding program for office workers to enjoy golf after work.
Club72 plans to cooperate with Incheon International Airport Corporation to promote the course so that transfer passengers at Incheon International Airport can enjoy rounding. They also plan to host the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Shinhan Donghae Open tournament in September and attract Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) events. They will expand the golf base by holding amateur and professional qualifying rounds such as pro tour qualifiers, the Srixon Tour (second-tier tournament), and the Samchully Dream Tree Tournament (youth tournament).
The lobbies and dining facilities of the Bada and Haneul Course clubhouses have been renovated, and some courses have been newly refurbished. On the Lake and Classic courses, additional greens are being installed on key holes, and work is underway to remove hybrid grass (Seopoa) to improve the condition of the fairways.
The 300-bay circular golf practice range is also being remodeled. They plan to create a pleasant atmosphere by laying 38,000㎡ of artificial turf and supplementing 20,000㎡ of natural grass in the practice range.
