Korea Buddhist Art Exhibition Introduces 'Digital Art' Category... Grand Prize Awarded 20 Million KRW
The Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism Headquarters announced on the 28th that it will hold the 32nd Korea Buddhist Art Exhibition contest. The submission period is from August 23 to 25, and the awarded works will be exhibited at the Ara Art Center from October 25 to November 2.

Marking its 53rd edition this year, the Korea Buddhist Art Exhibition will be held in four categories including the newly established Digital Art category, painting, sculpture, and crafts. The Digital Art category targets all new creations involving digital formats such as graphic images, illustrations, CG videos, and media installation works. The painting category includes various works such as Buddhist scriptures (with Byeonsangdo), printmaking, calligraphy (Seohwa), and urban sketches.
The awards ceremony will be held on October 25, and the grand prize winner will receive a certificate and a prize of 20 million won.
