Sokcho Coast Guard Rescues Tourist Who Fell at Yangyang Breakwater
A tourist taking a walk on the breakwater at Susan Port in Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, fell between concrete structures and was rescued by the Coast Guard.
The Sokcho Coast Guard announced on the 26th, "We rescued a tourist who fell at the northern breakwater of Susan Port in Yangyang-gun."
Sokcho Maritime Police rescued a tourist who fell at a breakwater in Susan Port, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon, around 1:32 a.m. on the 26th.

At around 1:32 a.m. that day, the Sokcho Coast Guard received a report that "a person fell on the breakwater," and dispatched rescue personnel to the scene, rescuing Mr. A (65) who had fallen.
Fortunately, Mr. A was conscious and was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Gangneung.
It was reported that Mr. A fell about 5 meters while walking on the breakwater tetrapods with an acquaintance.
