Gokseong-gun Launches Full-Scale Development of Small but Strong 'Gangsonong' Farmers

Expecting Increased Agricultural Income Through Practical Farm Management Improvement

Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced on the 24th that it has opened a basic course for new small-scale strong farmers, targeting 25 people, at the Agricultural Technology Center's main courtyard.

This training was prepared to increase the income of small and medium-sized agricultural management entities. It will be conducted step-by-step in basic, advanced, and follow-up education over a total of 10 sessions and 41 hours every Tuesday until August.

The basic course for strong farmers aims to learn the basic concepts of management for improving the management of strong farmer agricultural entities and to strengthen overall management capabilities.

It also focuses on checking one's agricultural management status through item-specific standard diagnosis, understanding trends, and establishing management strategy models.

The education consists of ▲Understanding agricultural management and success strategies ▲Tax knowledge that farmers should know ▲Understanding and creating farm storytelling ▲Writing and presenting business plans.

In addition to theoretical education, on-site training will also be operated to benchmark excellent leading farms as successful cases of strong farmers.

After the basic course, various programs will be provided to existing strong farmer agricultural entities to pioneer agricultural product sales channels such as marketing, brand development, and online sales, aiming to increase farm income.

A representative of the Gokseong Agricultural Technology Center said, “We hope this training will help strong farmers cultivate an agricultural management mindset, strengthen management capabilities, and build a foundation for self-reliance. We will do our best in education to ensure stable income growth for farmers.”
