“Subsidies Provided for Opening Parking Lots of Public Institutions” Chungnam Provincial Council Legislative Notice
The Chungnam Provincial Council is pushing for the enactment of an ordinance that provides subsidies when public institutions open their parking lots to the public.
On the 21st, the council announced the legislative notice for the "Ordinance on Supporting Free Parking Lot Opening."
Proposed by Assemblyman Oh In-cheol (Cheonan 7, Democratic Party of Korea), the ordinance aims to provide subsidies from the province to public institutions such as the provincial and city/county offices, affiliated organizations, schools, and apartment complexes when they open parking lots free of charge.
The ordinance also includes procedures for the province to receive applications, evaluate them, and select eligible parking lots, as well as compliance requirements for parking lot users.
