Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 17th that based on the evaluation of business proposals submitted by four domestic duty-free companies and five companies including the China National Duty Free Group (CDFG), as well as the bid price opening results, these candidates were selected.
The general business license candidates are Shinsegae DF, Hotel Shilla, and Hyundai Department Store Duty Free. There are five business licenses and 63 stores (20,842㎡) covering DF1·2 zones selling perfumes, cosmetics, liquor, and tobacco; DF3·4 zones selling fashion and boutiques; and DF5 zone selling boutiques. Shinsegae and Shilla are multiple operators for DF1·2 and DF3·4 zones, while Shinsegae, Hyundai, and Shilla are multiple operators for DF5 zone.
The small and medium-sized business license candidates are Gyeongbokgung Duty Free and City Plus, two companies. They cover DF7·8 zones selling all product categories, with two business licenses and a total of 14 stores (3,280㎡).

The contract period is basically 10 years. The corporation plans to notify the Korea Customs Service of the selected candidates for each business license. The Korea Customs Service will conduct a license examination and select the final operators.
