Meeting Startup CEOs as First Schedule
Appointment of Kwangju Lee, Youngseok Jung, and Byungduk Kim as Outside Directors at the General Meeting
BNK Financial Group Chairman Bin Dae-in officially took office on the 17th.
On the same day, BNK Financial Group held its regular shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting at the BNK Busan Bank headquarters, appointing Bin Dae-in as chairman.
Chairman Bin was born in 1960 in Namhae, Gyeongnam. He graduated from Busan Dongnae Horticulture High School and Kyungsung University, and joined Busan Bank in 1988. He served in the Management Innovation Department, Human Resources Department, New Financial Business Headquarters (Vice President), and Future Channel Headquarters (Vice President), and was the president of Busan Bank from September 2017 to March 2021. During his tenure as president, he was recognized as a key strategist leading the 'digital transformation' of regional banks. He was appointed as CEO and chairman of BNK Financial Group in January.
After officially taking office, Chairman Bin's first schedule was to visit Busan Bank's 'Some Incubator' to meet with startup CEOs. Some Incubator is a startup nurturing platform created by Chairman Bin during his time as president of Busan Bank to support startup companies.

At the shareholders' meeting that day, three new outside directors were also appointed. Among the six outside directors, Yoo Jung-jun, Heo Jin-ho, and Lee Tae-seop retired due to the expiration of their terms, and former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Korea Lee Kwang-joo, Professor Jeong Young-seok of the Department of Maritime Law at Korea Maritime University, and Senior Research Fellow Kim Byung-duk of the Korea Institute of Finance joined the board.
