[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on the 17th that it will broadcast a public service advertisement video informing drivers of the obligation to stop at red lights at intersections equipped with right-turn traffic signals to NongHyup and Shinhan Bank branches nationwide.
This initiative aims to enhance residents' understanding of the revised Road Traffic Act and encourage active participation in the policy.
Starting from today until the 21st of next month, Gangnam Police Station plans to use 2,999 bank branches nationwide as platforms to display promotional videos about the amended Road Traffic Act.
The video includes content stating that even if the vehicle signal is green, drivers must always stop temporarily when pedestrians are present, and if the vehicle signal is red, drivers must stop temporarily even if there are no pedestrians.
