Naver Obtains International Standard Certification for Norm Compliance Management System
Naver announced on the 17th that it has become the first domestic internet company to obtain the ISO37301 certification for compliance management systems.
ISO 37301 is an international standard for compliance management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is awarded after evaluating whether a company has a global-level systematic compliance management policy and risk management system.
Naver has made various efforts for compliance, including establishing a dedicated compliance organization, organizing company-wide risk identification and control systems, providing specialized compliance training, operating internal and external reporting channels, and conducting internal audits. The acquisition of ISO37301 is said to be a recognition of these efforts. In July 2022, Naver also passed the follow-up certification audit for the Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO37001).
