Currently, Pohang City has four Food Banks and one Food Market, and last year, about 1.1 billion KRW worth of goods were donated and delivered to 7,253 beneficiaries.
According to the city, the recent increase in living expenses due to rising prices and public utility fees has intensified the economic burden on low-income marginalized groups, making the need for help urgent. It is expected that support for vulnerable groups and the restoration of community functions will be achieved through donations of Food Bank·Food Market items from citizens and companies.
