Ulleung-gun Conducts School Violence Prevention and Youth Harmful Environment Inspection
Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk, formed a joint crackdown team on the 14th of this month, in collaboration with Ulleung Police Station, Ulleung Office of Education, Ulleung Youth Center, and Ulleung Women's Association, focusing on Ulleung Middle School and areas dense with harmful establishments, to conduct a campaign to prevent school violence and inspect and crack down on harmful environments for youth at the start of the new semester.

View original imageThey distributed placards and promotional materials encouraging everyone to work together to create a happy school free from school violence, and also conducted inspections of youth-harmful establishments such as singing practice rooms, entertainment bars, PC rooms, and lodging facilities after sunset.
The county continues to make efforts to protect youth by conducting inspections and crackdowns on harmful environments periodically, including during Youth Month in May, summer vacation, and before and after the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
