Visited Ex's House 3 Times in Two Days... 'Stalker' in 30s Arrested
A man who caused a disturbance by visiting his ex-girlfriend multiple times and using abusive language was arrested by the police.
The Ansan Danwon Police Station in Gyeonggi announced on the 13th that they have apprehended a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, on suspicion of violating the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes, and are currently investigating him.
Mr. A is suspected of visiting his ex-girlfriend Ms. B's house a total of three times?once on the 11th and twice on the day of the incident?knocking on the door and using abusive language. At around 11:45 a.m. on the day, Mr. A caused a disturbance in front of Ms. B's house and was arrested on the spot by police who responded to Ms. B's report.
Ms. B stated that this was her first time reporting Mr. A's stalking behavior to the police, but added, "Mr. A also came to my house knocking on the door and shouting on the 11th and earlier this morning."
During the police investigation, Mr. A stated that he visited because he wanted to reconcile with Ms. B.

A police official said, "We are also investigating the details of Mr. A's previous offenses," and added, "We plan to apply for provisional measures such as a restraining order against Mr. A soon."
